It is not a conventional piston engine, but a fluid-based principle with an integrated turbine in the main flow. The concept is aimed at: very high efficiencies (conceptually up to ~75%) significantly reduced mechanical complexity high scalability through identical modules low weight relative to output extremely low maintenance requirements The simplified mechanical architecture also results in a substantially lower cost potential – prospectively in the range of ≈ one third of conventional large engines, at comparable power levels.
